Ayumi Naturals Tranquility Massage Oil | Review

Ayumi Naturals are a brand which I have only recently discovered and I can say I'm very glad I have. When I really looked into Ayumi I realised its a brand nothing like I've ever come across before. They combine the ancient holistic benefits of Ayurveda to nourish and protect the body from the harshness of modern living. Ayurveda means the science of life, a holistic system that focuses on health and well-being, in which we can use its beliefs to change all areas of our lives for the better. Everything we eat, apply to our skin and the lifestyle we lead affects the way we look and feel, which I totally agree with. If you want to read more about this you can head over to the Ayumi Naturals website.

All of the products from this brand have been researched thoroughly and ingredients have been chosen for their individual strengths and the experience they create. The product I tried was the Massage Oil in Tranquility, there are four to choose from including Sensual, Detox and Muscle. I chose the Tranquility as I love relaxing products. This oil is enriched with Sandalwood, Myrrh, Lavender and Frankincense which create the most amazing scent, really relaxing and soothing.

This oil has many uses, you don't just have to use it for massages, although it does work great for that! I've used this in the bath as a bath oil which is perfect for an evening bath to relax your mind before bed. It makes the room smell great and gives your skin extra moisture while you soak. You can also use this as a body moisturiser, either apply to dry skin whenever or even wet skin after bathing or showering and your skin will be left looking amazing and feeling super soft, believe me this really works!

Using this product has left me really wanting to try more from Ayumi naturals! I'm eyeing up the hair oils on their website as we speak! Have you tried anything form Ayumi Naturals before? x

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar | Review

I know I say this about most of the Lush festive range but this is probably the product I most look forward to seeing back in stores. If you've ever smelt this bubble bar you might know what I mean! I LOVE the scent of this one! For those of you who don't know, firstly where have you been?! And secondly a bubble bar is exactly what it says on the tin it's a bar that bubbles when you crumble it under running water, and they don't disappoint they definitely create bubbles, loads of them!

I love the name Candy Mountain, it kinda reminds me of Elf and that's okay with me. I love the look of the product, it's super cute. I love the colour it turns the bath, pink! And most of all I love the scent, it literally smells like candy, really sweet and yummy. One of the best things I find is that the scent tends to linger around you for the rest of the day. You get little whiffs of it every now and again when you swish your hair. I also find that my skin feels really moisturised after using this one which I wasn't expecting at all, so that was a nice surprise!

For £2.95 you can absolutely not go wrong with Candy Mountain, and I also think it's quite acceptable to stock up until next year! Have you tried this one? X

Christmas At The Eden Project

Down here in Cornwall we are lucky enough to have The Eden Project right on our doorstep. Now I think Eden is a magical place to visit all year round but at Christmas they really step it up a gear. The place is transformed into a winter wonderland with ice skating, reindeer, Santa's grotto and so many fairy lights!  Even if you don't want to take part in anything its lovely just to walk around and soak in the Christmas spirit. You can also take dogs into the grounds now so they can get in on the action too, just maybe not the ice skating!

One of my favourite parts which is new to this year is the tropical biome which is transformed into an enchanted forest. Yes, fairy lights, carol singers and SNOW! They have put so much effort into this part this year, it was a really special festive experience and unlike anything we have in Cornwall. There is even a part at the end of the trail where you can hang up and leave Christmas messages for lost loved ones which was lovely to see.

If you live in Cornwall or if you visiting this Christmas I would definitely set aside an evening to spend at The Eden Project it's nothing like you'll see anywhere else! It's such a different experience to be around beautiful tropical plants and flowers but to be singing carols and ice skating! Also be sure to stop in the gift shop at the end, it's one of my favourite parts they have some really unique gifts and decorations.

Have you ever been to The Eden Project? I'd love to hear what you thought! x

Lush So White | Review

It's not the most exciting Lush bath bomb to look at but this little beauty is one of my festive favourites. Now you may know by now that anything with a fairy tale name is okay by me, and as you may have guessed this one is inspired by Snow White and smells like apples!

In my opinion this could be sold all year round as it's not quite as Christmassy as the rest, but it is one I look forward to every year. As I mentioned it smells of apples, really fresh apples. I like using this one in the morning, as the scent wakes you up more than any other bath bomb, plus it'll leave you and your bathroom smelling amazing all day. Also don't be fooled by it's cool white exterior, the moment you pop this into your bath you'll notice there is much more to this little bomb, it's definitely a case of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. It leaves your bath PINK! And it's soooo pretty!

Have you tried So White? What's your favourite bath bomb?! X

Planning A Disney Holiday Part 2 | Where To Stay

If you've seen my previous post you might know that I'm in the process of planning a trip to the happiest place on earth! If not you can get up to speed here. Today I wanted to talk about probably the first thing you'll decide when planning a trip to Disney and that's where your going to stay.

There are SO many options and they all have their advantages and disadvantages. This time we are staying on Disney property at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, but on previous trips we've stayed off property in a villa and also in a value hotel. So I feel like I have all angles covered here!

This time, for the first time, it's just my boyfriend and I so a villa was out because we didn't feel we needed all that space. However a villa can be a great idea for many reasons. I've stayed in villas twice before when I've travelled  with family and the space is welcome when your with so many people! It's so nice having your own bedroom, and a living room you can all relax in at the end of a long day at the parks. Also having your own kitchen and cooking for yourself can keep the cost down for a large family.

The big question for us this time around was whether we were going to stay on or off Disney property. Now this will be the first time we've stayed at Disney so I can only talk about staying off site from experience. Staying off site can be a lot cheaper, we've stayed in various budget hotels in the past when we've been with family. When your paying for a big family like ours and you also want to do everything a cheaper hotel is sometimes the only way to go to be able to do that, well it was for us anyway! By doing everything I mean Disney, Universal, Sea World, Bush Gardens, Wet n Wild, driving down to Miami, honestly our 'down' days were the days we spent at the water parks! But staying somewhere cheaper was how we did this, and to be honest we were only sleeping there! We've stayed in a Quality Inn before on International Drive (which I don't think is even there anymore?!), also more recently we stayed at the Ramada Gateway Hotel just outside of Disney, we could see some of the Disney landmarks from the top floors of the hotel, so close!!

This time we're staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, sorry have I mentioned that?! We were honestly umming and arring for a while trying to decide on or off property. We were prepared to spend a little bit more this time as it's just the two of us. There are some really nice hotels to choose from off property, The Buena Vista Place was a close contender! But after a lot, A LOT, of consideration we decided on Disney because:
1, We'll be in the magic ALL the time!
2, We qualified for a free dining plan so don't have to budget for food everyday
3, We only have to hire a car for a week. to do things outside of Disney as whilst on site all transport is complementary.
4, We get picked up and dropped off at the airport which most importantly means we can have a cheeky celebratory drink(s) on the plane on the way over!
5, We get a memory maker included.
6, We get magic bands!!
7, We're planning to spend most of our time at Disney not just at the parks but exploring the resorts, Disney Springs and the Broadwalk so it made more sense.
8, We get a $200 Disney spending voucher included.
9, Disney customer service is amazing and we want to feel special for two weeks haha.
10, I've dreamed about saying at a Disney resort hotel since watching the planning video as a little girl, and they say dreams come true.

So, there we have it! Don't forget that these are my thoughts only and not every family will be the same, remember when planning a holiday like this it's YOUR holiday and you should do it how you like!

Have you ever been to Orlando? Where did you stay? X
